Chapter 17

Let’s Hope for More

I started packing slowly. It was my time now. Sonia came in to the room and saw me as tears started to fall from my face. As she moved near me, she also cried on my shoulder. I looked up and left for a while with her and went to the park. As we walked, we were reminiscing about the past and all the events that have passed over the year. “Remember when we first met?” I asked. Sonia smiled and said “Yeah. We met in the corridor since we were both new students.” I smiled and said “Yeah. You were also being attacked by some of our batch mates.” She laughed and said “You remember what happened after that?” I nodded “The one when we became room mates or the first date?” She laughed “Both. I see you remember well.” I looked up into the sky and saw clouds. “Then I met Kumiko, Hanako, Robzy and Sky.” Then suddenly, I heard shouting and turned around. I spotted the four of them as they joined us. Kumiko was crying a bit and said “I heard the news! You’re not serious!” I shook my head and said “It’s true. I have to. I got orders from my commander to go back.” Hanako cried and said “No! I want you to stay!” I frowned and said “I told you I got my order from my commander.” Sky was holding on my sleeve and said “No! You’re the first person in my list who became my friend!” I shook my head “I know you’ll find more friends.” Robzy looked like he was going to cry too and said “We have things to settle too like you and me battle!” I looked down and said “Well maybe you’ll find other people who are better than me.” Then Rock came running with Note visible saying “You can’t go! What if you ask your commander to stay?” I shook my head “I have to battle him in order to get my request.” Then out of nowhere, bombs blasted in front revealing another Navi in a copybot. I looked shocked and said “Get out of here!” as I did my EM Wave change with D.B. Everyone followed and transformed into their respective Navis. This time, Kumiko transformed with Axl. Then the Navi in the copybot was destroyed and Vent and Aile came out in ZX form. “I heard your request, Andre.” Vent said with a grin. Aile smiled and said “We’re the commander’s right and left. Beat us and you’ll get your request.”

I frowned as they started attacking. I dodged their attacks for a while then launched my Beast Blaster at them covering them in smoke. I was resting a bit until Aile shot a full charged ZX shot at me and I was struck in the chest hard. Then Vent came up and slashed me on the spot where Aile shot me. I fell back and de-transformed. I got up and Vent and Aile were leaving. Vent said “I guess this means your request has been denied.” I frowned and punched Vent on the stomach hard. Then we both had a fist fight until he took out his Saber and was about to slash me. Then I dodged it and slammed him on the floor. Then I stopped and ran away. The group tried chasing after me but I hid myself and went back to my room. When I returned, I saw Sonia seated on her bed. She looked up and smiled “I knew you’d be back.” I was about to talk but she put her finger on my lips and said “This scene looks familiar.” I smiled and hugged her. She kissed me but she tripped and we both fell. I smiled and laughed “This wasn’t part of the scene.” Then Sonia laughed and kissed me. We got up right after the kiss and we walked to WildKat. As we went there, she looked at me and said “Remember when we sang last week?” I laughed “Yeah. Your voice was really nice.” She blushed and said “You’re trying to make me laugh?” I smiled and said “I guess.” Then we went back to the room to turn in early.

The next morning, I woke up early and got out of bed and everyone did the same. They wanted to see me off. When we reached the airport, I got in line and went to my gate. Then after a while, everyone left after they saw the airplane leave. Sonia fell on the floor and cried her heart out. They decided to get back to school. Then Sonia got an e-mail saying “See you soon.” Then they went back and Sonia wondered who whould send that.

Then when they got back, Sonia saw a note stuck on the door saying “You’ll have a new room mate” Then she went in. It was pitch black and she couldn’t see a thing. Then she turned on the lights and saw someone. “Hey. So I see your back already.” Sonia couldn’t believe her eye. She ran up and hugged him to death. She kissed him and said “I missed you so much! But how did you get back?” He smiled “Cancelled. I was allowed to stay.” Sonia started crying on the shoulder. Then they Sonia laid her head on his shoulder. She smiled and called everyone to come to her room. When everyone arrived, she said “Ok now we wait for my new room mate.” “I wonder who it is.” Hanako said. Kumiko looked kind of sad “I’m sure he or she can never replace Andre’s place.” Then the door opened and a familiar figure come in. “Did you miss me?” it said. Then everyone stood up and was surprised “N-no…you can’t be…” Sky said. “Are you sure?” he said. Then everyone ran up to him and hugged him to death like Sonia. Then Sonia smiled and joined. Then when it was time for bed and everyone had left, they were going to bed soon. Then before she turned off the lights, she said “Welcome back, Andre.” I smiled and went to her bed and gave her a passionate kiss. Then I turned off the lights for her.
